Being able to help, is more satisfying than any sale I’ve ever made.

Ryan’s life experiences were a key motivator in his decision to support Drug ARM. He knew that he wanted to use his successes in business to make a difference in the lives of others. Through his business’ support, Drug ARM has been able to put 20 people through treatment. His support is making a true impact on the welfare of his community.

Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple, convenient and manageable way to support Drug ARM. Donations are tax deductible and with a low administration cost to process the donation, donated dollars can go even further. By participating in workplace giving, employees can give pre-tax without waiting for the end of the year to get a tax deduction.

Participating in workplace giving:
  • Contact Human Resources about setting up an ongoing gift to Drug ARM as your nominated charity partner
  • Check whether your company matches donations and whether there is a cap

If your workplace does not have a workplace giving program, you can still make a monthly contribution.

Setting up workplace giving
  • Speak with our team about how to easily manage through your existing payroll systems (with no extra tax forms to fill out)
  • Discuss whether you would like to support the causes your staff are passionate about by
  • Create a policy around matched gifts for workplace giving, including details on caps and how often gifts will be distributed

Event Sponsorship

Thanks to the support of our corporate sponsors, Drug ARM is able to run a series of Movie Days and Circus Extravaganzas throughout the year.

Our children’s movie and circus days give local children and their families who desperately need respite a special gift – a fun-filled day out thanks to the local business community.

Funds raised from these events also help fund the following projects in Drug ARM:

community mental health awareness & Support project

Community Mental Health Awareness & Support is the former Mental Health Association Queensland/Australia, now delivering mental health services under Drug ARM. Community Mental Health Awareness is committed to promoting awareness and understanding of mental health in the community, and to assist people to access relevant and timely information and appropriate services and support. It informs and educates the community by raising awareness, encouraging acceptance and advocating for action on mental health for all Australians.

alcohol and other drug education projects

Drug ARM’s specialist alcohol and other drug library responds to over 600 requests for education and support from young people and families, and our education, awareness, prevention and other support programs make a positive change in the lives of nearly 40,000 Australians annually. Support of the Movie Day Appeal will assist Drug ARM to continue to help people build better lives for themselves and their families.
