Alcohol & Other Drugs Support

Support on your terms

Are alcohol or other drugs having an impact on your work, relationships, family, physical or mental health? Whatever your relationship with alcohol or other drugs, and whatever your personal goals, we are here to help.

We offer a range of treatment programs for people who want help to address issues related to their alcohol or other drug use.

Our team of specialists provide non-judgemental and confidential support through counselling, case management, life skills education and group work. We offer programs that range from come-as-required groups, weekly sessions, and even daily support programs.

We can help in areas such as relapse prevention, coping strategies, relationship skills, anger management, emotional regulation, mental health, and other life skills support. Depending on the program you are in, we can also help to coordinate care by engaging with existing healthcare and social services providers, or connecting to new providers.

We work with each person to identify their goals, and provide practical solutions to make progress towards them.

FAQs

After you sign up, we will match you to an available program that fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Different programs have different approaches and areas of focus, so it’s important to find the right program that can achieve the best results for you. We have found that we are able to provide a successful match most of the time; however, if you start the process and you feel your program isn’t a good fit for you, please speak with us.

No. Our holistic approach means we help with all of the issues that might be contributing to, and maintaining, alcohol and other drug use.

We recognise that the reasons people use alcohol or other drugs can be complex, and therefore our main goal is to support people to progressively reduce the harms on their terms. This can range from reducing alcohol or other drug consumption, to abstinence. It can even mean dealing with issues such as mental health, relationships, anger or other areas before addressing alcohol and other drug use.

Our organisation ensures that every practitioner we engage is a specialist in alcohol and other drug use.

Drug ARM might be right for you if you are looking to improve your quality of your life. Whenever there is anything that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help. Our team are able to help you with specific issues such as stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, depression, sleeping, trauma, anger, family conflicts, grief, self-esteem as well as alcohol and other drug issues.
If we aren’t the expert in an area you are seeking assistance in, we can help you find one.

Currently our alcohol and other drug support programs are free.

We offer face to face support in office, in your home, in a safe space or via telephone.
