Our Brand Story

Drug ARM is excited to mark a milestone in our history, the launch of a new brand, to signify our formation as a specialist group incorporating alcohol and other drugs, mental health and education and training.

Our organisation has always been associated with addressing the harms of alcohol and other drugs in the community. During that time, we’ve grown to offer a suite of holistic programs and services that address harm at every level.

The new brand marks the transfer of the activities of our sister organisations, the Mental Health Association Qld and the Australian College of Community Services, to Drug ARM. Formerly operating as the Healthy Options Australia group, we now serve the community together as one specialist organisation.

Bringing together the experience of these organisations under the Drug ARM brand honours our founding purpose, as well as positioning us well to serve the community in the future.

Our new look and feel, together with our logo, symbolise the collaboration of the organisation to achieve our purpose.

The look and feel of our brand have been constructed to represent the unique journey of each person, family and community affected by alcohol and other drugs. Each element is hand drawn to reflect the complexity and unpredictability of being human.

Our new brand logo is inspired by the safe, protective space that Drug ARM provides throughout these journeys.

But our brand is more than just a logo. It communicates the next era of our organisation as a combined unit, and our ongoing promise to the community.
