building family resilience
Increasing the skills, confidence and knowledge of parents is one of the best ways to influence childhood development and wellbeing.
We help parents who are experiencing challenges to build stronger and healthier relationships with their children. Our team provide parenting education, alcohol and other drug support and help with relationship building through case management, group work and individual counselling.
We also support parents and caregivers to successfully transition from home care to early childhood education. This occurs through building understanding of early literacy and numeracy development in children aged 0-4 years.
"It's helped with my confidence and anxieties with parenting the kids. It's helped create a better bond between my son and his father.

The skills that were provided to enhance the children's emotional understanding have been very helpful. The communication between the kids and I has improved a lot. Just sitting and talking helped me relieve some of the tension and anger that I have been feeling. Overall, this has helped me and my family a lot.
